1.1 These terms and conditions (T&Cs) form the basis on which you can visit our website (Website) and get access to our services.

1.2 By registering your details with us, you need to accept the T&Cs and you agree that your orders are subject to the T&Cs. Please read them carefully before registering with us through our Website as they contain important information.

1.3 If you want to register with us and order through our Website, you need to accept the T&Cs.

1.4 We shall reserve the right to change the T&Cs from time to time. You will be informed via email about any change made to our T&Cs.



2.1 This Website is owned and operated by HUNGARIANCUISINE.CO.UK LTD[1]. All rights, including copyright, in this Website are owned by or licensed to HUNGARIANCUISINE.CO.UK LTD.

2.2 Any use of this Website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without our permission.

2.3 You may not modify anything on this Website, or distribute or repost anything from this Website for purpose other than your own personal, non-commercial use.

2.4 You may access some areas of our Website without registering your details with us. Most areas of our Website are open to everyone.

2.5 You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our Website.

2.6 This Website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third party.

2.7 We try to ensure that our Website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this Website or any websites accessible through it will not cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the Website. Except in the case of negligence on our part, we will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this Website.

2.8 We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. We will store all personal data you provide on secure servers.

2.9 We may collect and use your personal data only to provide you with our Products (as defined below), to bill you for our services you request, to market our Products and services which we think may be of interest to you (if you subscribed to our newsletter), or to communicate with you for other purposes which are evident from the circumstances or about which we inform you when we collect personal data from you.

2.10 We will not sell, share, or otherwise distribute your personal data to third parties. 



3.1 We offer pre-made Hungarian style chilled food (Products) which - subject to proper storage - remains fresh for 21 days due to a special cooling and packaging technology.


3.2 You can add a refundable special thermo box with cooler blocks (together Thermo Package) to your purchase which would keep your Products cool for up to 8 hours.






4.1.1 Making an order could not be easier. Just click on https://hungariancuisine.co.uk/sajat-menud and create your personal profile (My Menu) by giving all details and information required then look around in our food gallery.



4.1.2 You can just select any Products available on our website and based on your selections we will set up your menu for the coming week.


4.1.3 Please complete your billing and shipping details. Do not worry if you need more time to finalise your profile. You can complete your registration at a later stage.




4.2.1 Please check all information that you entered and correct any errors before clicking on ["I AGREE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND I WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER].



4.2.2 You have three options when placing your Weekly Order:


  1.  select and set up your Weekly Order from any of the Products available on our Website by 12:00 Monday;
  2. select  our fix menu available on our Website on a weekly basis by 12:00 Monday;


  1. choose to suspend your Weekly Order in line with the provisions at point 7.4.


4.2.4 You can add a refundable Thermo Package to your Weekly Order at extra costs as set out at point 5.3. In this case, your Weekly Order will be delivered or collected in Thermo Package. 




4.3.1 Once the registration is completed, you will be directed to the Website where you can choose your payment options (PayPal, cash or bank card).


4.3.2 If you choose PayPal as a payment method, you need to set up a direct debit in favour of us. PayPal will inform you about your successful set up of direct debit.





4.4.1 You can always check and modify your details by navigating to My Menu. Your email address, name day and birthday cannot be changed. If you made a mistake and would like to correct it, please contact us.


4.4.2 Please note that your modifications will be processed within 48 hours. We will assess your details and aim to get back to you within 48 hours if we need to ask any further questions or to clarify anything else.


4.4.3 If you wish to change any details, information or selected Products earlier than 48 hours, you need to contact us[2] immediately.


4.4.4 If we have already started processing your Weekly Order, we cannot guarantee that we can make any of your urgent changes and you are not entitled to any refund.




5.1 The price of the Weekly Order (Price) is GBP 45.01 (excluding Thermo Package). The Price includes VAT and delivery costs and any online payment administration charge[3].


5.2 In case of any Price increase, we will give you a week notice.


5.3 If Thermo Package is added to your Weekly Order you will be charged with an extra GBP 30.00 on the top of the Price. This extra cost is refundable at the next delivery or collection upon return of the Thermo Package unless any item of the Thermo Package is non-refundable due to injuries or defects or you decide to buy the Thermo Package.


5.4 If any item of the Thermo Package is not returned at the time of the next delivery or collection or cannot be refunded due to its injury or defect, you have to pay damages in the amount of GBP 20.00 for the thermo box and/or GBP 5.00 for each cooler block, depending on the case.


5.5 You can always add to or remove from your Weekly Order the Thermo Package one week before the delivery or collection.


5.6 Cash payments are accepted and collected at the time of delivery of your Weekly Order. If you opted for cash payments but unable to pay at the time of delivery, your Weekly Order will be returned and we may terminate your contract with us until your outstanding payments due to us are duly settled. Please refer to point 7 for any further details. 


5.7 If you need invoice, you need to contact us.




6.1 Your Weekly Order consists of seven mains (500g/1.10lb packages) and one dessert ( 260g/0.57lb).


6.2 All Products can be collected directly or are delivered chilled to you in the territory of Greater London. Please check out our interactive map for delivery territory[4].


6.3 Your Weekly Order will be ready for delivery on every Tuesday. If Tuesday is a bank holiday, your Weekly Order would be ready for collection or delivered on the next working day.


6.4 Once your Weekly Order has been delivered, a confirmation email will be sent to you.


6.5 Your Weekly Order is deemed to be delivered even if no one takes it over at the registered address. You will be contacted immediately. There is no guarantee that we can deliver your Weekly Order to an alternative place and even if we do, you might need to pay an extra fee for this delivery. If your Weekly Order cannot be delivered to an alternative place or we did not manage to contact you, we will inform you where you can collect your Weekly Order and by when. Even if your Weekly Order is not collected, you will be still charged and not entitled to any refund. 


6.6 Your Weekly Order needs to be kept below 5 °C / 41 F within thirty minutes of the time of delivery or collection unless it was delivered in Thermo Package which keeps your Weekly Order chilled for up to 8 hours.


6.7 The Thermo Package will be refunded at the next delivery or collection unless you decide to buy it. Please hand over or leave the Thermo Package at the place of delivery or collection.


6.8 If any item of the Thermo Package is injured or defective in any way which would make that item of the Thermo Package unusable for its purpose, no refund is applicable and you have to pay damages as set out at point 5.4.


6.9 If any item of the Thermo Package is not handed over at the time of the next delivery or collection, you have to pay damages as set out at point 5.4.





7.1 We guarantee that unless you chose the Products for your Weekly Order or go for our fix weekly menu, your Weekly Order is selected diversely.

7.2 All Products will be handed over to you in proper packaging and - subject to proper storage - remain fresh for approximately 21 days. Please check the date of manufacturing of the Products on their packaging label to calculate their expiry date. 


7.3 If the packaging of any Product is injured or defective, we will replace that for you as soon as possible. If we have not noticed the defect of the packaging at the time of delivery, you need to inform us immediately but not later than two hours of the time of delivery by sending us a photo of the faulty packaging via Email[5].


7.4 If you borrowed or purchased a Thermo Package, we guarantee that that your Products are kept cooled in the Thermo Package for up to 8 hours.


7.5 If any Products have become compromised as a result of misuse or in the event of inappropriate storage or any breach of this T&Cs, this guarantee is void.


7.6 Please see a guidance[6] on our Website how to store, open and heat up our Products.




8.1 If you are uncertain whether you liked any of our Products, please contact us to arrange for a free tasting at one of our collection points.




8.2 You might be entitled to further discounts or offers. Please check out the details on our Website or sign up to our newsletter. Please note that you can unsubscribe anytime if you wish to stop receiving communications from us.




9.1 We are only responsible for losses that are a natural, foreseeable consequence of our breach of these T&Cs. We do not accept liability if we are prevented or delayed from complying with our obligations set out in these T&Cs by anything you (or anyone acting with your express or implied authority) do or fail to do, or is due to events which are beyond our reasonable control.


9.2 We do not give undertaking that our Products are free from allergens. If you have any food allergies, you should contact us directly before registering with us.


9.3 Furthermore, we do not accept liability for any losses related to any business of yours including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, lost revenues or business interruption.




10.1 You are extremely important to us. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of any Products, please consider providing us with a feedback about your experience. Your feedback is an important part of our quality control process. If you have any other problems, questions or comments on or about the Products, please contact us immediately.


10.2 If you have any problems or issues with the packaging of the Products, please contact us immediately but not later than two hours after the delivery of your Weekly Order, otherwise we cannot proceed with your complaint.


10.3 If you have any queries about the T&Cs or if you have any comments or complaints on or about our Website, please contact us immediately.


10.4 We love to hear ideas from you how to improve our selection of Products. If you have a favourite Hungarian dish which is not available among our Products, please contact us.






If any provisions of the T&Cs are invalid, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall nevertheless continue in full force and effect without being impaired or invalidated in any way.




The T&Cs constitute the whole agreement between you and us and supersede all previous discussions, correspondence, previous agreement, understanding or agreement between us relating to the subject matter of any contract.




You may not transfer any of your rights or obligations under the T&Cs without our prior written consent. We may have a right to transfer any of our rights or obligations under the T&Cs without your written consent to any business that we enter into an agreement.




This Website, any content contained therein, the T&Cs and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this Website are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.
